WhatsApp Community Rules

Please read before participating. These rules exist to keep the community safe, respectful, and useful for everyone.

1. Purpose of the Community

This WhatsApp community is used for:

• Class and schedule updates
• Events, gradings, and reminders
• Positive, respectful community communication

It is not a platform for complaints, disputes, or sensitive matters. Those should be handled privately with staff.

2. Eligibility (Adults Only)

• This community is strictly for adults (18+)
• Minors are not permitted in any Element WhatsApp groups
• Parents or guardians participate on behalf of junior members

This rule is non-negotiable and exists to protect junior safety and privacy.

3. Privacy and Visibility

• Your phone number, name, and profile photo are visible to other members
• Do not share screenshots, messages, or member information outside the group
• If you receive unwanted direct messages, block the sender and notify an admin

4. Photos of Junior Members

• Parents or guardians may share photos of their own child
• If a photo includes another child, permission must be obtained from that child’s parent or guardian before posting
• Children must not be named, tagged, or otherwise identified
• No photos or videos involving injuries, discipline, emotional situations, or sensitive moments

Admins may remove any image at their discretion.
If you are unsure whether a photo is appropriate, do not post it.

5. Respect and Conduct

• Speak to others as you would on the mats
• No bullying, harassment, personal attacks, or public call-outs
• Keep conversations constructive, respectful, and on topic

6. Not for WhatsApp

Please do not use this group for:

• Complaints or disputes
• Medical or injury advice
• Membership, payment, or account issues
• Legal matters or accusations

7. Content Guidelines

Allowed:

• Training and event-related discussion
• Helpful questions
• Positive community interaction

Not allowed:

• Spam, promotions, or selling
• Advertising without admin approval
• Political, religious, or controversial topics
• Offensive or inappropriate content

8. Admin Authority and Enforcement

Admins manage this community to keep it safe and respectful.

Admins may:

• Remove messages or images
• Restrict posting
• Remove members from the community

Repeated or serious breaches may result in removal without warning.
Admin decisions are final and made in the best interests of the community.

9. Official Communication

‍

WhatsApp is a convenience and community channel.
Email remains the official communication channel for important announcements and account-related matters.
